Fire Alarm Technician (SFFAPID-2)

A growing fire protection company is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Technician to join its team.

This is a full-time position supporting the installation, service, inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems for commercial and industrial customers throughout the region.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of fire alarm or low-voltage experience
• NICET Level I or higher
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Professional communication and customer service skills
• Clean agent fire suppression experience preferred

Job Responsibilities

• Install, service, inspect, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and wiring schematics
• Perform testing and inspections in accordance with NFPA standards and local code requirements
• Complete service reports, inspection documentation
• Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members
• Travel throughout the service area with occasional overnight stays as required
