A growing fire protection company is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Technician to join its team.
This is a full-time position supporting the installation, service, inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems for commercial and industrial customers throughout the region.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of fire alarm or low-voltage experience
- NICET Level I or higher
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Clean agent fire suppression experience preferred
Job Responsibilities
- Install, service, inspect, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and wiring schematics
- Perform testing and inspections in accordance with NFPA standards and local code requirements
- Complete service reports, inspection documentation
- Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members
- Travel throughout the service area with occasional overnight stays as required
