TradeSTAR is partnering with leading low voltage contractors who are looking for skilled Fire Alarm Technicians ready to make an impact.
What You ll Do:
-Install and route fire alarm cabling through conduit and support structures
-Mount and terminate devices like smoke detectors, pull stations, and horn/strobes
-Assist with or complete panel terminations depending on experience
-Read blueprints and follow system layouts
-Perform testing, inspections, and basic troubleshooting
-Identify issues like ground faults and support system corrections
-Ensure all work meets NFPA standards and job specs
Who You Are:
-1 4+ years of fire alarm or low voltage experience
-Experience installing and terminating fire alarm systems
-Ability to read prints and understand system layouts
-Comfortable using basic testing tools (VOM, meters)
-Knowledge of NFPA 72 standards is a plus
-Texas FAL license is a plus (required for higher-level roles)
-Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
