The Fire Captain provides supervision during emergency calls for service, as well as station duties with the primary responsibility for the safety and supervision of fire department work crews completing a variety of tasks. The Fire Captain is frequently the first point of contact between the fire department and the public and is expected to consistently deliver the highest level of customer service in all interactions with the community.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position that will have a 24-hour schedule based on a 56-hour work week. Any combination of relevant education and experience will be considered. Applications will be reviewed as they are received. Interviews may be conducted prior to the closing date.
