At Viking we enlist the best people continually enhance our knowledge study trends and utilize innovative technology to maintain our position as a leader in fire protection.The Fire ExtinguisherSuppression Technician is responsible for performing scheduled or unscheduled maintenance and inspections on fire extinguishers suppression systems hood systems and gas systems.RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentKitchen Hood Suppression experience a plus.Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and writtenValid drivers license in accordance with Company policyMechanically inclined experience a plus.Willing to pass a drug test and background checkResponsibilitiesPerformance of daily weekly monthly andor annual inspections and preventative maintenance services on various extinguisher or suppression systemsRepair replace fill and tag all fire extinguishersService and testComplete electronic andor hand written inspection reports Document time worked as well as all paperwork relating to assigned tasks in a timely mannerAssist the scheduling and completion of assigned dutiesAbility to work independently and use provided personal protective equipmentAbility to work split shifts on occasion when required.Equal Opportunity Employer including disabled and veterans.
