Fire & Security Technician (4-Day Work Week)

We're looking for a skilled fire alarm technician. If you're strong on fire and want to grow into burglar alarm, access control, and IP video, we'll train and certify you on the rest, fully paid.

What You'll Do

• Install, program, service, and maintain commercial fire alarm systems, with the opportunity to cross-train into burglar alarms, access control, video surveillance, and structured cabling.
• Troubleshoot life-safety systems accurately and efficiently.
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and project documentation.
• Run conduit, pull cable, terminate devices, and deliver clean, code-compliant installations.
• Perform inspections, testing, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
• Maintain accurate service and project records.
• Partner with our Client Experience Team to deliver responsive, customer-first service.

What You Bring (Required)

• At least three years of experience with commercial fire alarm or low-voltage systems.
• Experience with Fire-Lite, Silent-Knight, or comparable fire alarm platforms.
• NICET certification or active progress toward it.
• Familiarity with NFPA inspection and testing procedures.
• A clean driving record and a high school diploma or GED.

Nice to Have (We'll Train You)

• Burglar alarm experience (DMP, Resideo Vista).
• Access control and IP video (Hanwha, Axis).
• ESA, BICSI, ASIS, or CompTIA certifications.
