Job Announcement
The City of Chandler Fire Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a Fire Senior Inspector, this is a full-time position with benefits. The position is scheduled to work Monday - Friday 8/5 {after a 6 month probationary period is completed, schedule may change to a 4/10 schedule).

City charter authorizes the Department to mitigate all hazards, including fire suppression, emergency medical services (EMS), hazardous materials response, technical rescue, and crisis intervention. In support of those functions, the Fire Department staffs a fire prevention division, EMS and training divisions, mechanical maintenance facility, community preparedness office, and Department administration.

Minimum qualifications
The position available is a regular full-time position and is subject to a 6 month probationary period. A register of qualified candidates will be active for 4 months should another position become available.
The City of Chandler will conduct a pre-employment DOT drug and alcohol test and a driving record check as a condition of employment. An offer of employment is contingent upon acceptable results. All applicants hired will be required to be fingerprinted with successful results as a condition of continued employment.

These policies have not been altered by the passage of Proposition 207. The use of recreational marijuana is a violation of the city's Drug Free Workplace Policy.
