Pay Range: $26.00 - $30.00 / Hourly. The posted salary range reflects the anticipated hiring range for this position at the time of posting and is provided in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws. Actual starting pay will be determined based on job-related factors, including the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, education, internal equity, geographic location (where applicable), and market considerations. Not all candidates will be hired at the top of the posted range. The posted range reflects base salary only and does not include any applicable bonuses, commissions, overtime, or the value of employee benefits. Job Summary: Fire sprinkler apprentices assist senior technicians in the installation and service of fire sprinkler systems, while receiving on the job training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation of fire sprinkler systems:

• Handle tools and equipment under supervision.

• Measure, cut, and thread pipes according to specifications.

• Assist in the assembly and installation of pipes, valves, and fittings.

• Support the mounting and positioning of sprinkler heads.

• Collaborate with installation team:

• Work closely with senior technicians to ensure efficient installation processes.

• Follow instructions and guidelines provided by the team.

• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks.

• Conduct pre-installation preparations:

• Assist in reviewing blueprints and system designs.

• Prepare the work area by clearing obstacles and ensuring accessibility.

• Help gather necessary tools, materials, and equipment for the installation.

• Follow safety guidelines and regulations:

• Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Comply with industry standards and local fire codes during installations.

• Report any safety concerns or incidents to senior technicians.

• Learn and develop technical skills:

• Actively engage in training sessions and workshops related to fire sprinkler installation.

• Familiarize yourself with different types of fire sprinkler systems and their components.

• Seek guidance from senior team members to enhance your knowledge and skills.

• Other duties as assigned.
