You will work alongside a skilled team utilizing your expertise to assess blueprints select appropriate materials and provide high-quality craftsmanship to protect lives and property from fire damage.This position has a salary range of 20-25 per hour depending on experienceJob ResponsibilitiesLayout pipePreparation of pipe and fittings to include cutting threading grooving and doping gluecement.Set up equipment loading and unloading of material tools ladders etc.Clean up to include sweeping trash collection and disposal and keeping work area free of debris at all times.Assisting foreman and sprinkler fitters with day to day tasks.Adhere to OSHA safety regulations at all timesOther duties as assigned.Travel to work on various locationsjob sites as necessary.Job QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED2 years of construction or mechanical experience preferredFire Sprinkler experience not requiredMust be at least 18 years old.Possess a valid drivers license with a clean driving record in accordance with Company policy.Willing and able to lift up to at least 50 pounds.Comfortable climbing ladders and working at heightsAbility to use basic hand and power toolsAbility to work in a fast-paced construction environment with or without reasonable accommodation.Must pass a post-offer drug test and background check if applicable.Reliable transportation.Must be able to obtain and maintain base access REAL ID requiredPlease visit www.afpgusa.comcareers for more information or to see all job openings.Mid Atlantic Fire Protection is an equal opportunity employer.
