Known for quality workmanship, responsive service, and a strong safety‑first culture, Professional Fire is driven by a team of skilled professionals committed to protecting people, property, and communities.About The OpportunityThe Fire Sprinkler Foreman is responsible for leading and supervising fire sprinkler installation crews on commercial, industrial, and/or residential projects. This role ensures work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with contract documents, NFPA standards, and local codes. The Foreman coordinates labor, materials, and scheduling while maintaining quality workmanship and productivity.Job DutiesSupervise, train, and lead fire sprinkler fitters and apprentices on job sitesPlan, layout, and oversee installation of fire sprinkler systems per drawings and specificationsInterpret blueprints, shop drawings, and hydraulic calculationsCoordinate daily work activities, manpower, and material needsEnsure compliance with NFPA standards, local fire codes, OSHA regulations, and company safety policiesConduct job site safety meetings and enforce safe work practicesInspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and code complianceCoordinate with project managers, general contractors, inspectors, and other tradesTrack labor hours, productivity, and report progress to managementIdentify and resolve field issues, including design conflicts and material shortagesMaintain tools, equipment, and job site cleanlinessAssist with system testing, flushing, and final inspections as requiredQualificationsMinimum of 5–7 years of fire sprinkler installation experiencePrevious supervisory or foreman experience strongly preferredStrong knowledge of NFPA 13, 13R, and 13D standardsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsSolid understanding of sprinkler materials, installation methods, and toolsStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesValid driver's licenseCompensationPay is hourly and is negotiable - dependent on candidate experienceQuarterly bonuses$3,000 Sign-On Bonus!Benefits401K with a company matchMedical, Dental and Vision InsuranceCompany paid Short Term DisabilityCompany paid Long Term DisabilityCompany paid Life and AD&D insurancePre-tax accounts for health and dependent careAflacVacation and Personal timePaid holidaysTuition ReimbursementProfessional Fire Protection is firmly committed to Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and prohibits employment discrimination for employees and applicants based on his or her age, race, color, pregnancy, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, religion, marital status, citizenship, or because he or she is an individual with a disability, protected veteran or other status protected by federal, state, and local laws.This link leads to the machine-readable files that are made available in response to the federal Transparency in Coverage Rule and includes negotiated service rates and out-of-network allowed amounts between health plans and healthcare providers.
