This individual will cultivate new business relationships maintain existing accounts and ensure the fulfillment of established sales goals through estimating and proposing fire protection projects. Embrace a consultative selling technique that includes the ability to analyze client needs communicate appropriate solutions and facilitate sales to closure.This individual will project manage the projects he or she sells and manage the ongoing relationship with the customers. This person will have responsibility for the initial planning of a project including scheduling of time material procurement analyzing changes and solving problems.The pay range for this position is 85-105k per year depending on level of experience.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform site walks to review existing conditions and coordinate with owner to gather the required information to develop pricing and proposal for the projects fire sprinkler systemThrough use of analytical thinking and problem solving determine construction feasibility systems possibilities prepare cost estimates and present effective proposals that offer solutions to customer life safety needsComplete the sale of fire sprinkler systems and upgrades supporting recurring monthly service customers maintenance monitoring test and inspectionReview annual inspection reports and provide proposals for deficiency and repair work.Determine customer needs by conducting site surveys and communicate effectively to educate the customer about WSFP capabilitiesClose sufficient sales to meet sales plan objectivesDevelop and maintain an active backlog of proposals and contractsProcurement of all material required throughout the projectDevelop initial schedules for preliminary project workDevelop positive and ongoing relationships with customers to ensure company is meeting customers expectationsCoordinate with other departments within office and field technicians to ensure proper handover of job informationConduct long range project planning and schedulingMonitor and manage projects to comply with safety quality productivity and profitability requirementsWork with our field superintendents to manage field labor force of assigned projects to assure maximum productivityIdentify changes in projects that impact cost schedule or labor requirementsManage cost estimating for changes in work and submit in a timely mannerProcess project billings and monitor outstanding invoicesContinually monitor progress of projects review reports to ensure compliance with schedule and budgetary guidelinesForecast future manpower requirementsOversee work of subcontractorsReport to owner and general contractor about progress and any necessary modifications requiredEnsure work complies with codes and permitsRecommend improvements in company procedures and overall company business practicesJob QualificationsFive years plus experience in the fire protection industry is requiredStrong working knowledge of life safety and NFPA codesProven ability and track record of performing work in a timely manner and meeting deadlinesDetail orientated with an ability to organize and effectively manage multiple complex tasks and solve problemsFamiliarity with Outlook Excel PowerPoint and Word software is highly recommendedAbility to coordinate and work in a team environmentProven positive and professional attitude and customer service skillsHighly motivated and proactiveExcellent communication skills-written and verbalPrevious construction industry experience is preferredMust be able to pass a background check and post offer drug screenValid drivers license is requiredThis position is accepting resumes and applications ongoing basis.All qualified applicants with Western States Fire Protection Company will receive consideration for employment without regard to race color religion sex sexual orientation and gender identity national origin or status as a qualified individual with a disability or protected veteran.VEVRAA Federal ContractorAccessibility If you need help accessing this page please contact Phone 1-877-252-2168Email
