Due to continued growth we are seeking a hardworking and motivated Sprinkler Apprentice to join our team in Auburn ME. This is an entry-level role designed to provide hands-on experience training and valuable skill development in the fire suppression systems industry. As a Sprinkler Apprentice you will support the installation maintenance and repair of sprinkler systems under the guidance of experienced technicians.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in pursuing a career in fire safety and system installation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the installation testing and maintenance of sprinkler systems in residential commercial and industrial buildings. • Work closely with senior technicians to ensure compliance with local and national fire codes and safety standards. • Learn to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings related to fire suppression systems. • Perform basic tasks such as measuring cutting and threading pipes using hand and power tools. • Carry out general site cleanup preparation and organization of tools and materials. • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment. • Support troubleshooting activities and report any issues to senior staff. • Participate in training sessions to learn about equipment standards and evolving industry practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent. Willingness to participate in technical training or apprenticeship programs. Ability to work in various conditions including at heights or in confined spaces. Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools. Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment. Ability to follow instructions carefully and work as part of a team. Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects up to insert weight e.g. 50 lbs regularly.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience with plumbing mechanical systems or construction is a plus but not required. Familiarity with basic safety protocols in construction or mechanical work environments. Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
