Position Overview
Client is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Technician / Inspector to join our commercial fire protection team in Georgia.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with commercial fire sprinkler inspection, testing, maintenance (ITM), service, and troubleshooting. This position requires a qualified professional who is licensed/credentialed in the state of Georgia to perform fire sprinkler inspections.

Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, test, and maintain commercial fire sprinkler systems in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
- Perform inspections on wet, dry, and specialty sprinkler systems.
- Troubleshoot and service commercial fire sprinkler systems and related components.
- Perform fire pump testing and hydrostatic testing of fire department Siamese connections.
- Inspect sprinkler valves, controls, alarm panels, devices, and other critical system components.
- Identify system deficiencies and coordinate recommended repairs and corrective service.
- Prepare accurate inspection reports, service reports, deficiency documentation, and other required records.
- Coordinate inspections and service appointments with building owners, facility managers, superintendents, and other customer representatives.
- Respond to service calls and after-hours emergencies when required.
- Diagnose system issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Explain system operation, deficiencies, testing requirements, and maintenance recommendations to customers.
- Maintain compliance with applicable fire protection codes, safety requirements, and company procedures.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on commercial fire sprinkler experience preferred.
- Required: Valid Georgia license/credential authorizing the candidate to perform fire sprinkler inspections in the state of Georgia.
- NICET I certification required.
- NICET II certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of commercial fire sprinkler systems and applicable fire protection codes and standards.
- Proven experience with inspection, testing, maintenance, and service (ITM).
- Experience with wet, dry, and specialty sprinkler systems.
- Experience with fire pump testing and hydrostatic testing preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and manage field service calls effectively.
- Strong communication, customer service, and documentation skills.
Physical & Field Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
- Comfortable working at heights, including above 10 feet.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and challenging job-site conditions.
- Ability to stand, walk, crouch, reach, push, and pull for extended periods.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures, including extreme heat and cold.
- Comfortable working around loud equipment and active commercial job sites.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced commercial Fire Sprinkler Technician / Inspector who can independently perform inspections, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and service of commercial sprinkler systems.
Candidates with Georgia inspection credentials, NICET I or higher, strong commercial ITM experience, and hands-on experience with wet, dry, and specialty systems are strongly preferred.
This is an inspection and service-focused position. Candidates whose experience is limited primarily to sprinkler installation/fitting without commercial inspection and testing experience will not be considered.
