Duties And Responsibilities Performs scheduled and/or routine Fire Inspection preventive maintenance on a variety of Fire System equipment under contract agreement by inspecting, adjusting, cleaning, and calibrating systems and checking out equipment to ensure it's in satisfactory working orderCompletes maintenance that reduces service calls and emergency calls and results in achieving the goal of zero call backsWhen required assists with the start-up of new equipment or system installation and makes adjustments as needed to ensure the system is operationalPerform work assignments in a safe manner and within specified cost limits.Promote, build, and maintain good customer relations and assists with contract retention. Seek opportunities for upgrading fire systemsMaintain company property and documentation in accordance with established policies; handle proprietary information in the prescribed manner; adhere to and support Securitas Technology policies and procedures including all safety requirementsMaintain knowledge of industry changes and new developments in products and technologyAttend and complete training programs as requestedPresent a professional appearance and maintain a clean, orderly and professional vehicle imageQualifications High school diploma or equivalentTwo to five years of experience installing and/or servicing intrusion, fire alarm, access control, and CCTV security systems with basic understanding of electronics, wiring, local and national codesIP Video and IT experienceESA Certified Alarm Technician preferredFire/Life Safety Systems experience requiredS98 certification required or NICET I & IINTS Certified Service Technician preferredHighly Preferred Skills Knowledge or certification in Fire Panel ManufacturersVocational/technical degree in electrical, security, or computer systems preferredBosch, DMP, Edwards / EST, Honeywell, Radionics, Simplex and/or GE / Mirtone system knowledge preferredIT/Networking Certification preferredWe are a nationwide provider of security solutions and an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse workforce.
