A-OK Pawn and Retail is a local Wichita company looking for a Firearms Pawn & Sales Associate. The right candidate will have sales experience and a friendly, customer-service oriented attitude. Experience with Firearms is Required. Experience with Firearms Reporting and Documentation Requirements is preferred.  Must be at least 21, have a clean record and be able to pass a background check. Must be able to work Saturdays and/or Sundays, in exchange for a day off during the week. Lifting over 50 pounds regularly is required. 
 
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service. 
  • Communicate effectively with customers and share knowledge about great products like jewelry, electronics, music equipment, tools, firearms, etc. 
  • Maintain gun inventory according to Federal standards.
  • Perform and Maintain Firearm Reporting and Documentation according to Federal and Local standards. 
  • Be the go-to person for firearms knowledge. 
  • Process loans, extensions, buys and layaways. 
  • Contact customers via phone reminders. 
  • Assist in merchandising and keeping store clean and well organized. 
  • Assist in opening and closing duties. 
  • Help maintain a professional and upbeat retail sales environment. 
  • Must be able to work as part of a team and be able to take initiative independent of direct supervision 
Qualifications: 
  • Firearms Experience Required, Including Safety and Handling Knowledge
  • Knowledge of Firearms Regulations, Reporting and Documentation Requirements a plus, but not required 
  • Bilingual is a plus, but not required 
  • Must be 21 years old 
  • Must be able to pass a background check. 
  • Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
