ABOUT THE ROLE: The Firefighter will work at the Superspeedway in various positions and locations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Respond to fire, emergency medical, and other emergency services calls as needed.
• Controls and extinguishes fires by selection of appropriate diameter hoses and nozzles.
• Remove people from dangerous or hazardous situations through an approved means.
• Ensures a safe and fun environment for all guests, staff, sponsors and partners.
• Works safely, following all established safety rules and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors and guests.
• Ensures the safety of guests and employees.
• Utilizes various forms of firefighting equipment and fire suppression or rescue operations.
• Patrols assigned areas as directed.
• Responds to emergencies as trained.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays and nights as needed.
• Must present an overall clean, neat appearance, and report to work in appropriate attire.
• Must possess a valid state issued drivers license.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English.
• Must be able to pass a background verification.
• Must have completed Hazmat Response Skill or equivalent.
• Must have completed Flammable Liquid Course.
