JOB SUMMARY Under supervision of the Fireworks Commissioner, t he Firework clean-up crew member is responsible for assisting with the breakdown, cleaning and removal of materials and debris from seasonal firework stands. This position involves physical labor, lifting, organizing inventory, and ensuring the site is left clean and safe. MAJOR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES This list is intended only to illustrate the various types of work that may be performed. The omission of specific statements does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related or is a logical assignment to the position. + Clean and remove trash, debris, cardboard, signage, and leftover materials from firework stand locations. + Assist with dismantling tents, tables, shelving, displays, and temporary structures. + Load and unload inventory, supplies, and equipment into vehicles or storage areas. + Sweep and clean stand exteriors and surrounding areas. + Follow safety procedures when handling fireworks-related materials. + Transport materials to designated disposal or storage locations as directed. + Maintain a professional and cooperative attitude while working with team members. + Complete assigned tasks within required timelines. + Because of the Tribe's commitment to community service and the well-being of its members, each employee may be expected to perform a wide range of office and field duties from time to time. Such duties may or may not be related to their regular responsibilities. EDUCATION - EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING FOR POSITION + Must be able to pass Drug/Alcohol test + Must be able to work well with the public + Must be dependable and punctual Preferred: A valid Washington State Driver's License. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The working conditions described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential duties of this class. Frequently stands/walks for long periods of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works in outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud in the field. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to bend, kneel, stand, and work outdoors for extended periods. Ability to work in varying weather conditions. Licenses or Certifications Required A valid Washington State Driver's License is required at time of appointment or at a time set by the Tribe.
