Location: Dallas, TX (100% onsite)
The Role
Senior Office Administrator (Firm Administrator) leading Dallas office operations for a top-tier law firm.
This is a high-visibility leadership role, acting as:- Operational head of the office
- People leader over legal support staff
- Reporting to: Chief Administrative Officer
Core Responsibilities - Manage legal secretaries (tenured, strong personalities)
- Approve PTO, timecards, oversight of staff structure
- Full office budget
- Potential multi-office exposure
- Negotiate + manage vendors
- Office events, engagement, acting as sounding board to leadership
Must-Haves
- Office Administrator / Firm Administrator / Office Manager background (professional services)
- Prior legal secretary / legal admin / paralegal experience
- Ability to relate to legal staff and speak their language
- Bachelor’s degree required
- ~5+ years people management
- Excel proficiency (budgeting, pivots, formulas)
- Experience with HRIS + financial systems
- Comfortable approving:
- Timecards
- PTO
- Acting as liaison with HR/payroll
