The AirPods Firmware team is looking for an enthusiastic firmware engineer to join us. This is an individual contributor role where youll develop the platform technologies and drive the system integration of features across the AirPods lineup. Youll have the opportunity to influence the technology and product roadmap for Apples consumer audio products, working with a wide cross-functional team to continually push the boundaries of whats possible.
As a Firmware Engineer on the AirPods team, you will architect, develop, and deliver platform and product firmware for Apples audio products. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role, and an opportunity to shape the technologies that define the customer experience for millions of people worldwide.
Youll work across a range of technologies, from low-level system architecture to product-specific features, and have real influence over the design and development of future products. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential; youll regularly partner with cross functional teams to define what comes next.
