The Firmware Engineer is responsible for developing and supporting embedded firmware for our leading-edge class I/II medical devices. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary to develop C/C++ applications on embedded microcontrollers across all of our product lines ( EEG, EMG, and Sleep). Primary responsibilities include overall direction and leadership of specific firmware projects, requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, development, debug, and documentation. Develop production test procedures for calibration and verification of new production instruments. Monitor progress on tasks against plan, and report status to management on project issues. This position is responsible for maintaining existing firmware applications, developing new features for the existing applications, designing new applications, and coordinating projects with management.
