We are hiring a Firmware Engineer to architect and develop the embedded systems powering a distributed marine sensor network. You will work across MCU firmware and embedded Linux, owning projects from board bring-up through full-system integration.
This is a broad firmware role for an engineer who can move comfortably between bare-metal systems, RTOS environments, embedded Linux, hardware debugging, and cloud-connected sensor infrastructure.
What You’ll Do
Architect and develop firmware for a distributed marine sensor network across microcontrollers and embedded Linux systems
Build and maintain bare-metal and RTOS-based firmware
Drive firmware architecture decisions and help evolve the embedded software stack
Own board bring-up, hardware validation, and integration with the broader distributed system
Partner closely with the electrical engineering team throughout development and testing
Debug hardware and firmware issues using oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and logic analyzers
