Job Description:
  • We're looking for engineers who are passionate about firmware validation, quality, automation, and platform-level testing to join a team working on cutting-edge server and infrastructure technologies.
  • Role Mix:
    • 70–80% Test Execution & Validation
    • 20–30% Test Development, Automation & Workflow Enhancements
 
Responsibilities:
  • Execute and maintain comprehensive validation and test plans for firmware and platform solutions
  • Design, develop, and automate test cases using Python
  • Collaborate closely with firmware, platform, and architecture teams
  • Investigate failures and perform root cause analysis
  • Distinguish between configuration/user issues and genuine product defects
  • Improve test coverage, efficiency, and automation across the validation lifecycle
  • Leverage modern AI-assisted development and productivity tools to enhance testing workflows
  • Drive an automation-first culture with minimal reliance on manual testing
 
Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in BIOS, firmware, embedded systems testing, or platform validation.
  • Strong understanding of formal QA methodologies, test planning, test execution, and defect management.
  • Experience developing automated test scripts using Python.
  • Solid troubleshooting and debugging skills with the ability to perform root-cause analysis.
  • Strong understanding of PC architecture, server architecture, BIOS/UEFI, processors, memory subsystems, and hardware-software interactions.
  • Experience working closely with firmware development teams in an agile environment.
 
Skillsets:
  • Deep knowledge of PC/Server architecture, BIOS, and platform technologies.
  • Python-based test automation experience
  • Semiconductor, server, storage, networking, firmware, platform validation, or systems engineering environments
 
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
