The men and women of the Richmond County District Attorney's office work each day in partnership with Law Enforcement and the people of Staten Island to pursue justice for victims of crime, to prevent crime in all its forms, and to promote the safety and well-being of all citizens of our Borough.
THE ROLE
The Richmond County District Attorney (RCDA) is seeking to hire an Assistant District Attorney to serve as the First Executive Assistant District Attorney. The First Executive Assistant District Attorney serves as a member of the Executive Team at RCDA. The Executive Team is made up of ADA's who provide leadership and oversight for the RCDA.
The First Executive ADA is primarily responsible for advising the DA and the Executive Team on legal and policy matters related to investigations, crime strategy, allegations of crimes by public servants, including police officers. Other responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

CIVIL SERVICE TITLE: Assistant District Attorney
SALARY RANGE: $167,610.00-$265,061.00, Commensurate with experience; full NYC benefits package

Residency Requirement
New York City residency is generally required within 90 days of appointment. However, City Employees in certain titles who have worked for the City for 2 continuous years may also be eligible to reside in Nassau, Suffolk, Putnam, Westchester, Rockland, or Orange County. To determine if the residency requirement applies to you, please discuss with the agency representative at the time of interview.
