We are seeking a licensed, collaborative, and student-centered First Grade Teacher to join our dedicated staff. Because we are a small school, you will be the only teacher at your grade level. This unique position is a perfect fit for an educator who thrives in a highly collaborative school environment, yet possesses the independence and confidence to lead their own classroom.
The Ideal Candidate
Literacy & Math Focused: Possesses a strong instructional foundation in early literacy and mathematics.
Act 20 Aligned: Training in Wisconsin Act 20 / evidence-based reading methodologies is highly preferred.
Primary Education Passionate: Loves the unique joy of primary education and understands how to weave movement, creativity, and discovery into daily learning.
Family-Centered: Welcomes and embraces family involvement, understanding how schools and families partner to create a safe, joyful learning environment.
Qualifications
Must hold (or be eligible for) the appropriate Wisconsin DPI License for First Grade
Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with a tight-knit, supportive staff.
Three current references are required.
