First Shift Shipping Associate
Location: Garrett, IN
Shift: Monday through Friday
6:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Pay: $19.00 per hour

If you have experience with forklifts, overhead cranes, and shipping operations in a manufacturing environment, this is an excellent opportunity to join a stable company with long term potential.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare steel grating orders for shipment
Safely operate an overhead crane to move steel products
Operate a sit down forklift to load and unload trucks
Verify shipping paperwork and ensure orders are accurate
Package, band, and secure materials for shipment
Coordinate outgoing shipments with production and warehouse teams
Inspect products before shipment for quality and accuracy
Maintain inventory records and shipping documentation
Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures
Keep the shipping area clean and organized
Qualifications
Previous shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Experience operating an overhead crane required
Forklift experience required
Ability to read shipping documents, packing lists, and work orders
Basic computer skills for shipping transactions and inventory tracking
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
Ability to work safely around heavy steel products
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
Good communication and teamwork skills
