Position Details
First- Year Studies Instructional Staff
The University of Tampa invites applications for a First-Year Studies instructional staff position. First-Year Studies is a key part of the University of Tampa's general education program, Spartan Studies. We seek an individual who is prepared to make an enthusiastic contribution to helping first-time in college and transfer students make a successful transition into the University community. This person will teach eight sections of the UTampa 101/102 course. This two-semester first-year study course is designed to help students discover learning opportunities and engage in educational experiences that will enhance the academic skills and social connections necessary for success.
Additionally, this individual will provide logistical and administrative support for Spartan Studies and First- Year Studies, including:

Qualifications
The qualified applicant will hold a master's or doctoral-level degree. Previous teaching experience with first-year students and/or first-year experience programs preferred.

Work Schedule
Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Summer Schedule: Monday - Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
