This position is currently eligible to telework. This position is required to work in the office at least 4 days per week. This may change based on business needs.

The WSLCB Finance Division is announcing an exciting opportunity for a Fiscal Analyst 2 position in Olympia, WA. This role directly supports the mission of the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board by delivering excellent customer service to internal and external partners and ensuring the accurate, timely processing of financial data. The position operates in full compliance with RCWs, WACs, federal and state regulations, Office of Financial Management (OFM) policies, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) standards, and WSLCB policies related to accounting.
As a key member of the General Accounting team, this position performs essential cashiering and revenue-processing functions that ensure the efficient stewardship of state resources. You will prepare and record daily deposits, analyze and code incoming payments, reconcile revenue activity, and support month-end and year-end fiscal processes. This role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to interpret financial information to ensure funds are properly applied and recorded in the state accounting system.

Required Qualifications:
Option 1
Five (5) years of professional experience in a financial related field and including 18 quarter or 12 semester hours in accounting, auditing, or budgeting credits or a commitment to attain the required credit hours in 18 months.
Option 2
An associates degree in a financial-related field, which includes 18 quarter or 12 semester hours in accounting, auditing, or budgeting or a commitment to attain the required credit hours in 18 months, and three (3) year of professional experience in a financial related field.
Option 3
A bachelor’s degree in a financial-related field, which includes 18 quarter or 12 semester hours in accounting, auditing, or budgeting or a commitment to attain the required credit hours in 18 months, and one (1) year of professional experience in a financial-related field.
