FISCAL ASSOCIATE
CITY OF CROSSVILLE FINANCE DEPARTMENT
Regular hours of operation are Monday to Friday: 7:00AM-4:00PM
Starting annual salary $41,849/$20.12 per hour. Employees are eligible for 5% salary increase at the conclusion of a satisfactory six (6) month probationary period.
The job of Fiscal Associate is a full-time position that includes a full benefit package. Benefits include health, vision, dental, life insurance, retirement, paid holidays and paid personal leave.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Performs a variety of accounting functions in support of financial activities including, but not limited to: purchase orders, accounts payable, reconciling vendor statements, journal entries, bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations.
- Reconciles accounting data and reports.
- Accumulates and consolidates data to be used in records and reports.
- Investigates and analyzes special accounting problems
- Maintains files and records.
- Follows established administrative policies and procedures of the City.
MINIMUM EDUCATION,TRAINING, EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum three years of relative experience in applicable field of work is required.
- A degree in a field of finance is highly preferred.
- Must be examined by a city designated physician to make a determination if applicant will be able to perform all essential duties required.
