The Fiscal Operations Analyst performs complex accounting and budget analysis, assists with grant and project budgeting, prepares technical and financial reports, and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local fiscal requirements. This position is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys analyzing financial data, collaborating with multiple departments, and helping ensure the District s resources are managed accurately and effectively.

Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the Chief Business Officer, performs complex accounting and clerical work in keeping and reviewing District financial data, statements, reports, and records accurate. Serves as a communication link to multiple school sites, coordinates work flow with site administrators and support staff and provides technical assistance with accounting and budgeting policies. Prepares technical and statistical reports for the district and assists with the preparation of the district annual budget development cycle. Exercises independent judgement and decision making on standard accounting practices and procedures in the district.
Knowledge and Application of:
Knowledge of, and the ability to apply accounting and budgeting principles, fiscal accountability methods, common business practices and the use of common business systems. The ability to review and interpret laws, rules and regulations appropriate to the position and the District, communicate effectively and maintain cooperative relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
