Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is seeking a Fiscal Specialist to provide critical clerical and operational support to Region Wide Crews and Maintenance & Operations staff in the South Central Region. In this role, you will support a wide range of business functions, including payroll, travel coordination, purchasing, budgeting, inventory tracking, and financial reporting, while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of administrative activities. The role will also assist in coordinating daily office operations, supporting management and staff, interpreting and applying policies and procedures related to fiscal and personnel processes, and facilitating maintenance participation in community engagement efforts. A strong candidate will possess excellent organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, proficiency in financial and administrative systems, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
