What's a typical day as a Fish ID Technician? You'll be: - Performing routine Fish ID duties under close supervision, including coded-wire tagging, fin clipping, and body tagging. - Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, restrooms, breakrooms, and other employee-used areas to maintain a safe environment. - Assisting the Lead and hatchery staff in quality inspections, trailer set up, and transferring fish from ponds or net pens to the trailer. This job might be an outstanding fit if you: - Have a high school diploma or equivalent; experience in aquaculture or a related field is preferred but not required. - Are able to work in a team-oriented environment and follow detailed instructions. - Are willing to undergo training as needed and are open to learning new techniques in fish identification.
