The Parks and Recreation Department is looking for a dedicated Part-Time Member Services & Child Watch Specialist to be the welcoming face of the FitCity Recreation Center!What You'll Do:This is a dynamic role where you'll help facilitate the center's daily operations and provide exceptional service to our members and guests. Your responsibilities include:Membership & Operations: Handling front desk operations, memberships, passes, general admittance, and facility opening/closing procedures.Patron Support: Answering questions about our programs, services, costs, and policies; checking out sports equipment; and resolving patron concerns to ensure a safe, high-quality experience.Child Watch Care: Providing a safe and fun environment for children in our Child Watch area.Financial Duties: Accurately handling cash, performing transactions, program registration, and product inventory.Why You Should Apply:Great Entry Wage: Start between $11.00 and $13.50 per hour (Pay Grade PT2).Bilingual Bonus: Spanish proficiency is highly desired and may qualify for additional bilingual pay!Skill Building: Gain valuable experience in customer service, cash handling, and conflict resolution.What We're Looking For (Qualifications):Must be at least 16 years old.Six (6) months of customer service experience is preferred.Must possess (or be able to obtain within 3 months of hire) a Red Cross CPR Certification and a food handler's permit.Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.A personable attitude, sound judgment, and a willingness to learn.Must be able to perform the physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 50 pounds.Apply today and help us create a safe, high-quality, and pleasant recreational environment for everyone!We will review applications and send updates at the end of each month.Applicant will be required to submit to a criminal background check and drug test
