Position Summary:
This position is responsible for overseeing the full operation of the property's fitness and wellness center. This includes managing staff, developing and implementing fitness programs, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a save, engaging, and inclusive environment for all residents. The Fitness Center Director plays a key role in promoting a healthy lifestyle and fostering a sense of community through wellness initiatives
Essential Job Functions:
Explain, promote, and register residents to the various fitness classes and personal training available at fitness center.
Schedules and assists residents with rock wall equipment, safety and procedures.
Manages group fitness class schedules and instructor scheduling. Oversees budgeting for fitness center.
Assists fitness program development through on-site events and marketing.
Completes safety checks and safety compliance of gym equipment and rock wall equipment and gear.
Tracks weekly metric reports to assess group exercise classes and facility usage.
Manages and mentors personal trainers and fitness center attendants.
Assists in scheduling, promoting and managing seasonal sports leagues for residents.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications/Skills:
Certified Personal Trainer.
Previous customer service background primarily in industry/position related to fitness.
Prior experience managing a personal fitness studio/gym.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday (work schedule may vary). Some overtime may be required and ability to work extended hours including "on-call" and/or participate in a rotating "on-call" schedule as needed to meet business needs.

Full range of motion with upper and lower body. Continual movement including, but not limited to: standing, walking, bending, stooping, crawling, and climbing stairs.
Operation of a motor vehicle onsite, if applicable.
Exposure to all weather conditions.
Lifting at least 20 pounds.
Pay Range:
$23.97 - $35.95
