As a D1 Strength & Performance Coach, you'll be responsible for delivering an exceptional training experience while building lasting relationships with our members.


Coaching Responsibilities


  • Lead high-energy group training sessions for youth athletes (ages 7+), adults, and teams
  • Conduct one-on-one personal training sessions
  • Deliver safe, effective, and engaging workouts
  • Teach proper strength training, speed, agility, conditioning, mobility, and injury prevention techniques
  • Demonstrate and coach proper movement mechanics with attention to detail
  • Modify exercises to safely accommodate different fitness levels, abilities, and goals
  • Start and finish every session on time while maintaining a high level of professionalism
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and safe training environment
Member Experience


  • Build meaningful relationships with members and families
  • Encourage, motivate, and hold athletes accountable for their goals
  • Deliver outstanding customer service during every interaction
  • Help maximize member retention through exceptional coaching and communication
  • Educate members on recovery, nutrition, and healthy performance habits
  • Create a fun, positive, and motivating training environment where everyone feels welcome

Qualifications


Required


  • Current CPR/AED/First Aid Certification
  • Nationally accredited fitness certification (NASM, NSCA, ACE, ACSM, ISSA, CSCS, or equivalent)
  • Minimum one year of experience coaching strength & conditioning, personal training, or group/team fitness
  • Ability to coach both youth athletes and adults
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred


  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Performance, or a related field
  • CSCS certification
  • Experience coaching competitive athletes or sports teams
