Fitness Coordinator I

• Assists director with the overall management and daily maintenance/operation of the Wellness Center facility
• Assists with client orientation
• Supervises exercise floor and educates clients on safe and effective use of equipment
• Markets wellness programs for recruitment and retention of members.
• Other roles and responsibilities.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in fitness related field
• Minimum of two years related experience
• Current certifications, (i.e. ACE personal trainer; ACSM health/fitness instructor; CPR).

Required Abilities/Skills:

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, decision-making, and leadership skill required.

Physical Requirements:

• Work is of medium to heavy demand. 
• Routine lifting requirements up to 25 pounds
• Occasional lifting requirements up to 100 pounds. 
• Lifting, pushing, pulling, walking, standing, sitting, bending and reaching required. 
• Works inside. 
• Exposure to warm and humid temperatures.
