FITNESS DIRECTOR
UFC Gym Pinellas Park is looking for a motivated, results-driven Fitness Director to lead our Personal Training and Group Fitness departments.
This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who understands that a successful fitness department is built through great coaching, strong relationships, accountability, and sales.
The Fitness Director will be responsible for developing the coaching team, growing Personal Training revenue, evaluating the performance of our programs, and working alongside the membership sales team to create an exceptional member experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and develop the Personal Training and Group Fitness teams, including coaching, accountability, performance expectations, scheduling, and ongoing development.
- Drive Personal Training sales and revenue through consultations, lead follow-up, member engagement, challenges, specialty programs, and coach accountability.
- Monitor PT revenue, consultations, conversion rates, client retention, class attendance, and coach performance to identify opportunities for growth.
- Use sales and attendance data to make informed decisions regarding class schedules, programming, staffing, and department strategy.
- Partner closely with the membership sales team to improve new-member onboarding, identify Personal Training opportunities, and help drive new membership sales.
- Create an environment where coaches are actively engaging with members, building relationships, generating leads, and contributing to the overall growth of the gym.
- Recruit, onboard, train, and develop high-quality Personal Trainers and Group Fitness Coaches.
- Maintain high standards for coaching quality, professionalism, member experience, and program execution.
- Develop and execute fitness challenges, specialty programs, seminars, events, and other revenue-generating initiatives.
- Support member retention by ensuring members feel connected to the coaching team and have opportunities to progress toward their goals.
- Attend and participate in community outreach, local partnerships, promotional events, and gym events to increase UFC Gym's visibility and generate new leads.
- Work with gym leadership to establish department goals, track KPIs, and develop strategies to consistently improve performance.

The ideal Fitness Director is a leader, coach, salesperson, and problem-solver who can take ownership of the department and create a culture where both coaches and members want to succeed.
You should be comfortable having sales conversations, holding a team accountable, analyzing numbers, making decisions, solving problems, and being highly visible on the gym floor.
Experience in personal training, fitness leadership, sales, or gym management is strongly preferred.
Most importantly, we want someone who understands that great fitness leadership happens on the floor—not behind a desk.
