Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and lead group fitness classes and/or individual training sessions appropriate for various fitness levels
  • Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and provide clear verbal and visual instruction
  • Monitor participant performance and modify exercises to ensure safety and effectiveness
  • Motivate, encourage, and support clients to help them stay consistent and reach fitness goals
  • Create structured workout plans aligned with class formats or training objectives
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workout environment
  • Enforce facility policies, safety guidelines, and emergency procedures
  • Stay current with fitness trends, techniques, and best practices
  • Build positive relationships with clients and contribute to member retention
  • Assist with fitness assessments, goal‑setting, and progress tracking as needed

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field preferred)
  • Current Pilates certification.
  • CPR/AED and First Aid certification (current or ability to obtain)
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and safe exercise practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate individuals and groups
