Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Design and lead group fitness classes and/or individual training sessions appropriate for various fitness levels
- Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and provide clear verbal and visual instruction
- Monitor participant performance and modify exercises to ensure safety and effectiveness
- Motivate, encourage, and support clients to help them stay consistent and reach fitness goals
- Create structured workout plans aligned with class formats or training objectives
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workout environment
- Enforce facility policies, safety guidelines, and emergency procedures
- Stay current with fitness trends, techniques, and best practices
- Build positive relationships with clients and contribute to member retention
- Assist with fitness assessments, goal‑setting, and progress tracking as needed
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field preferred)
- Current Pilates certification.
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification (current or ability to obtain)
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and safe exercise practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and motivate individuals and groups
