Do you have a passion for fitness? Does the thought of instructing and assisting facility users with fitness equipment, and promoting lifestyle programs appeal to you? If so, then join the team at the Sports Core as a Youth Dance Instructor, where your hard work and customer service skills will be appreciated and recognized!

Specific responsibilities include:

• Promoting and performing lifestyle programs, assessments and personal training services according to Sports Core standards
• Performing fitness services with minimal direction - Includes body fat testing, girth measurements, weight, cardiovascular step test, sit/reach flexibility testing and strength testing
• Promoting, designing and performing long-term personal training programs according to the needs and goals of healthy, average adults
• Effectively demonstrating and assisting facility users with fitness equipment in all fitness and training areas according to quality standards
• Maintaining accurate member and personal client records according to standard operating procedures
• Assisting with set-up, cleaning and preventative maintenance for all fitness related equipment; weight benches, racks and equipment, spinning bikes and any pool needs

This is a part time position working weekdays and weekends. Shifts vary between 5:00 am and 10:00 pm.

Skills/Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older to apply
• CPR certification required; first-aid certification preferred
• Dance background and/or dance certification

This role offers competitive commission range for this position.
