Description

The City of Fairfield Parks and Recreation is seeking a Fitness Instructor. This is a part-time, contract position to lead fitness classes at the Community Arts Center. We are specifically looking for instructors that can teach on Saturday mornings, but this could also extend to weekdays. The pay range is $20.00 - $25.00+ per hour based on experience. Examples of Duties

Design and conduct fun, safe, and effective fitness classes. Work with class participants of different abilities. Have a positive, motivating attitude and communication style.

Typical Qualifications

Certification related to class being taught; CPR certification

The majority of part-time employees of the City of Fairfield participate in the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System (OPERS). We also provide an Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) and usage of department work-out facilities.
