Fitness Membership Director

If you possess a true dedication to helping others\n \nachieve their health and wellness goals, this leadership role offers an\n \nincredible opportunity to make a lasting impact.\n \nIn this role, you will work in close partnership with the other Fitness\n \nManagers, and supervise sales associates, and the member experience\n \ncoordinator. The Fitness Membership Director will remain acutely aware of\n \nday-to-day member experiences in the fitness center\n \nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\n Plan and execute monthly sales targets and retention goals. \n Develop clear, consistent, and effective sales plans and strategies to meet established goals.\n Work with the JCC's marketing team to develop marketing strategies and materials to assist with sales.\n Manage a set of Key Performance Indicators: prospecting, tours, referrals, etc.\n Develop prospects and generate leads for potential new members\n Oversee the onboarding process for new members\n Promote the JCC to the greater Rockland Community through community events, grassroots efforts, local businesses, local affinity groups, etc. \n Perform regular check-ins, and welcome back members who go on a freeze\n Plan and execute regular membership appreciation programs and new member appreciation events\n Promote other areas of the JCC, when appropriate: Camp, Early Childhood, Adult Life Programs, Sports and Rec., etc. \n \nMinimum Qualifications:\n \nMinimum Qualifications\n\n Bachelor's degree in related fields preferred.\n Proven sales experience, preferably in a membership sales capacity.\n Outstanding people skills and ability to interact professionally with internal and external constituencies of all ages and backgrounds.\n Commitment to excellent customer service.\n Strong written and oral communication skills.\n Strong organizational and administrative skills.\n* Passion for fitness and wellness is a plus.\n\n
