This position involves reading blueprints and fully assembling steel beams' main frames using MIG welding machines and tack welding.
Essential duties include assembling components, tack welding parts, and using cranes to move beams within the manufacturing facility.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years of steel beam assembly experience in a manufacturing setting.
Must have knowledge of shop math, blueprint reading, welding symbols, beam assembly, and general welding practices, with strong attention to detail and quality standards.
There are no supervisory responsibilities.
The work environment is a manufacturing setting with variable noise levels. Physical demands are primarily standing (75%) and walking (25%), with minimal sitting.
Other duties may be assigned as needed.
