Industrial Fitter
Our client, a leader in the manufacturing of key vessels for the US military, is seeking an experience Fitter to join their team.
Requirements:
* Ability to read, write, understand, and follow work instructions.
* Experience working with hand tools such as grinders, tape measures, scales, etc.
* Experience, or the ability to learn the use of gas cutting and sand blasting equipment.
* Experience, or the ability to learn how to read and interpret blueprints related to the product.
* Experience, or the ability to learn how to build component subassemblies/fabrications.
* Mechanical and heavy industrial skills/background a plus.
* Must be a motivated person with the desire to either obtain or build on your existing knowledge/skills.
* Good communications skills. Must have the ability to speak, read, write and understand English.
Requirements:
* Blueprint reading: 1 year (Required)
* 5+ years as heavy industrial Fitter/Fabrication experience
* Experienced with variety of Hand tool and fabrication techniques used for Pipefitting
* Heavy industrial Fitter/Fabrication experience
