Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Core business is structural (beams, columns, angles, channels...etc.) and plate work.
- Fit up various plate/structural weldments prior to welding.
- Read complicated shop drawings and fit up the steel for a welder to complete.
- Lay out, position, align, and fit together fabricated parts of structural metal products.
- Performs related tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- 5 years fitting experience in heavy plate and/or structural work.
- Must have own tools.
