Miller Industries is seeking a Welder/Fitter for our 2nd Shift at our Burton, Michigan location. The hours are 5 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., Monday - Friday, with overtime as required for production on weekends. The ideal candidate will need to be proficient in MIG welding HRS, stainless steel and aluminum.

 

Our Welders are reading engineered drawings, cutting, welding, and assembling materials for our wide range of customers.

The position pays a competitive rate per hour based on experience and expertise, and a $2 per hour shift premium. Must have the physical and mental strength and endurance to be able to perform duties, in at times extreme environments, as well as the ability to handle stressors of the position in operational and administrative situations. Required to frequently lift and move 10-50 pounds. Expected to stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, and operate objects, tools, and controls.
