Location: Port of Catoosa, OK Pay: $25.00–$28.00 per hour (DOE) Schedule: Full-Time
HireCall is currently seeking an experienced Fitter/Welder for a growing manufacturing facility located at the Port of Catoosa. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled welders looking for competitive pay and long-term career potential.
Responsibilities
Fit and weld heavy steel components according to blueprints and specifications.
Perform high-quality MIG and Flux Core welding.
Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings.
Measure, align, and assemble materials for fabrication.
Operate grinders and other fabrication tools safely and efficiently.
Maintain quality standards while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of fitter experience required.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Experience fitting structural steel components.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a non-climate-controlled shop environment.
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening.
Weld Test
Applicants must successfully complete the following weld test:
Open Root 3G MIG weld
Flux Core fill and cap
Bevel your own 5/8-inch steel plates using a 9-inch grinder
