This role is responsible for fitting, assembling, and welding pole sections and large fabricated components in a production-driven industrial environment.

Required Experience & Skills Non-Negotiable Requirements: Minimum 2 years of welding experience REQUIRED Minimum 3 years of heavy manufacturing experience REQUIRED
Additional Qualifications: Strong ability to use welding measuring devices including tape measures, squares, levels, and layout tools Experience planning layouts, fit-up, and welding procedures Ability to read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and work instructions Experience with MIG / Metalcore welding and structural fabrication processes Ability to safely operate fabrication equipment and shop tools Strong understanding of workplace safety, ISO procedures, and quality expectations Reliable attendance and strong work ethic are required Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform layout, fit-up, assembly, and welding of pole sections and fabricated components Plan welding sequences and assembly procedures to support production efficiency Bolt, clamp, align, and tack-weld components into position Set up and operate Arc, Gas-Shielded Arc, or Gas Welding equipment Assemble parts using both bolting and welding methods as required Repair components by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling fabricated parts Operate fabrication equipment including plate rollers, cutting machines, and cutting torches Clean poles, welds, and finished assemblies as required Maintain accountability for assigned tools and equipment Follow all ISO Quality Program procedures, environmental standards, and workplace safety policies Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Weld Test Requirements Candidates must successfully complete: 1G Metalcore MIG Weld Test 3/8 Double Bevel Plate Test Work Environment Heavy industrial manufacturing / fabrication environment Exposure to welding equipment, fabrication machinery, heavy steel materials, sparks, heat, and active production operations Physically demanding role requiring standing, lifting, bending, climbing, repetitive movement, and PPE compliance Fast-paced production setting with overtime opportunities Why You ll Want This Opportunity Competitive pay at $24.50 per hour Stable 4-day day shift schedule Overtime opportunities available Temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential Great fit for experienced fitters and heavy manufacturing welders Ready to Apply?
