Fixed Asset Accountant

Our client in Orlando is seeking a direct hire, onsite Fixed Asset Accountant to support the accurate tracking, reconciliation, and reporting of capital assets. This role is responsible for maintaining the fixed asset ledger, reviewing capital project activity, and ensuring timely month‑end and year‑end close processes. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with complex asset portfolios.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and classify capital asset transactionsRecord asset additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciationReconcile the fixed asset module to the general ledger and resolve discrepanciesSupport monthly, quarterly, and annual close activitiesPrepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedulesReview capital project status and ensure proper asset setupAssist with bank reconciliations and interfund journal entriesResearch accounting guidance for unusual or unique asset‑related transactionsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting2+ years of experience managing fixed assetsStrong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP accounting systems#J-18808-Ljbffr
