| Purpose of the Position: | The Fixed Asset Auditor I will support the university’s property control function by performing routine tasks related to tracking, auditing, and documenting UAH’s fixed assets. This entry-level position assists with physical inventories, data entry, and departmental coordination involving asset tagging, surplus management, and asset transfers. Working under the direct supervision of the Manager of Fixed Assets and Capital, the incumbent has the opportunity to learn financial systems, state and federal compliance requirements, and campus-wide inventory procedures. The Fixed Asset Auditor I reports to the Fixed Assets and Capital Improvements Accounting Manager and works closely with the Fixed Asset Auditor I and other Finance staff. |
| Minimum Requirements: | • High school diploma or equivalent (GED). |
| Desired Qualifications: | • Associate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Logistics, or a related field. |
