Fixed Income Securities Lending & Repo – Front Office Support

Support the daily execution and negotiation of fixed income securities lending and repo transactions, partnering closely with trading, operations, and counterparties. This role provides front office coverage across domestic and global securities lending activities, with a focus on optimizing performance, maintaining strong controls, and enhancing workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and support securities lending and repo transactions in line with trading mandates and risk parameters
• Maintain relationships with counterparties, service providers, and internal stakeholders
• Monitor market conditions and adjust pricing (fee spreads/repo rates) to optimize client outcomes
• Ensure transactions comply with internal policies, including credit limits, collateral requirements, and regulatory considerations (e.g., Basel III)
• Contribute to new product development and revenue initiatives, including system and process enhancements
• Partner with trading support and middle office to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency
• Produce analysis, market commentary, and revenue simulations for clients and prospective business
• Support project initiatives, including business requirements documentation (BRDs) and system enhancements
• Participate in internal governance, process reviews, and cross-functional initiatives (including second and third line of defense efforts)
• Promote knowledge sharing, training, and continuous improvement across the team

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in fixed income securities lending and/or repo trading
