We are conducting a confidential search on behalf of an established, patient-focused general dentistry practice in the Wellington, Florida area seeking an experienced Dental Front Desk Receptionist.
POSITION SUMMARYThe Dental Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for creating a positive patient experience while managing the daily administrative operations of the practice. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, customer focused, and experienced in dental front-office operations, including appointment scheduling, insurance verification, patient registration, payment collection, and electronic records management using Curve Dental.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES- Welcome patients and provide outstanding customer service.
- Answer incoming calls and assist patients with scheduling and general inquiries.
- Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and coordinate appointments using Curve Dental.
- Register patients and maintain accurate demographic, insurance, and medical records.
- Verify dental insurance eligibility, benefits, authorizations, deductibles, and coverage limitations.
- Collect copayments, deductibles, outstanding balances, and accurately process patient payments.
- Assist with treatment estimates, billing inquiries, referrals, insurance claims, and patient records as assigned.
- Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and office staff to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Maintain an organized reception area while supporting opening, closing, and other administrative functions.
- Protect confidential patient information and comply with all HIPAA requirements.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of dental front-office experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency using Curve Dental practice management software.
- Experience with appointment scheduling, insurance verification, patient registration, and payment processing.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and general dentistry procedures.
- Strong customer service, communication, computer, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience with dental insurance claims, billing, collections, and treatment estimates.
- Experience supporting multiple providers in a general dentistry practice.
- Bilingual communication skills are a plus.
COMPENSATIONCompensation for this position is an hourly range between $16.00 and $18.00 per hour.
SCHEDULEFull-time position. Applicants must be available during the practice's regular business hours. Occasional schedule adjustments may be required based on operational needs.
